It has been a long, crazy semester and now that the final grades have been entered and submitted, I can begin preparations for the fast-approaching field season. Why, I'll be jumping into lakes of data (quite literally)! How exciting!!!QUESTION 1: What checklist do I power through first?

- Waterproof paper
- Flagging Tape
- Munsell Card (mini color checker)
- Bear Spray (just kidding :) ... I hope)
QUESTION 2: Whose the lucky sucker stuck with Mr. Tibbs for two months?

- Drive 6 hrs up the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia

- Help produce and maintain crosses to be sent to Clark University, MA for lab rearing
- Drive back to Seattle
- Return rental vehicle

- Pick up rental vehicle
- Daily behavioral observations in stickleback populations of Mat-Su Valley and the Kenai Peninsula of Alaska --> What is the frequency and repertoire consistency of the cuckoldry mating tactic across populations?
- Field spectrophotometry measurements --> Do sneakers have a distinct coloration and patterning compared to other males?
